Honey Neem is a unique blend of natural Latvian flower honey and cold-pressed neem oil (Azadirachta indica). In the Ayurvedic tradition, neem is considered one of the most valuable plants, while the combination of honey and neem has been used for centuries as a natural product for supporting general well-being and inner balance.

Before purchasing, it is important to understand the characteristic taste of this product. Although Honey Neem is based on natural flower honey, it is not ordinary sweet honey. Neem oil has an naturally intense bitter taste, which makes this product significantly different from conventional honey.

The bitterness is a completely natural characteristic of Honey Neem and is caused by the natural neem oil contained in the product. We do not use flavourings, sweeteners or other additives to mask the natural taste of neem.

If you are expecting the familiar sweetness of conventional honey, this product may surprise you. Honey Neem is chosen not for its sweetness, but for its unique combination of natural honey and valuable neem oil.

Ayurvedic tradition

In Ayurvedic practice, neem is known as a plant traditionally used to support the body’s natural cleansing processes and inner balance. Natural honey has long been valued as a nutritious product and as a traditional base for various plant-based ingredients. For this reason, the combination of honey and neem is considered one of the classic Ayurvedic blends.

Directions for use

Due to its characteristic bitterness, it is recommended to begin with a small amount — ½–1 teaspoon. The product may also be:

- followed with warm water;

- added to warm herbal tea at a temperature not exceeding 40 °C;

- mixed with a small amount of regular honey;

- combined with lemon, ginger or turmeric.

Many users find that the taste becomes much more familiar after several days of use.

Why is Honey Neem so bitter?

Neem is one of the most bitter plants used in Ayurveda. Even a small amount of natural neem oil can significantly affect the taste of the product. Its pronounced bitterness is therefore a natural characteristic of the product and not a sign of poor quality.

We deliberately keep the product as natural as possible and do not add ingredients that could alter its natural taste.
