Tingsha or karatalas (Sanskrit Kara - hand, tala - rhythmic drawing) - this handheld instrument for extraction rhythm. Two cymbals are joined together by a leather strap or chain. The cymbals are struck together producing a clear and high pitched tone.

Tingshas or karatalas are made by same Tibetan masters who make Singing bowls. They are made according to ancient formula that have been transmitted over many centuries from master to student.
