Indications: gout, rheumatism, wounds and cuts on the skin.
Castor oil is used in small quantities as a mild laxative for children. Paste or poultice from the seeds is applied to sores and abscesses, as well as swelling of the joints.
In addition, castor oil commonly used for cooking oils and means for fixing the hair, as well as perfumes. It can be part of lotions and hair tonics in a concentration of from 0.5% to 20%.
