Nasal lavage procedure is very useful in acute and chronic diseases of ENT organs, rhinitis of various origins (viral, bacterial, allergic), headache, impaired concentration and memory, with the mental and physical exhaustion. Easier breathing through the nose, increased flow of energy in the body. It’s an effective natural remedy for influenza, acute respiratory infections and frequent colds.

How to Use Petal?

1. Wash the new Petal teapot with warm water and put on one of the corcs to the nose.

2. Prepare a solution for washing. Take a warm (40-45˚C) boiled water. To 1 liter of water add 2 teaspoons of salt (10 g). It’s recommended to use coarse or salt sea swill (not iodized). Stir salt until its complete dissolution. The resulting solution should be like the taste of tears. Pour the solution into a teapot Petal. With second cork close filler hole of teapot.

3. Stand next to the sink or bathtub. Lean forward, keeping your back straight. Head and back parallel to the floor. Carefully insert the spout into the right nostril, turn your head to the right (chin pull up to the shoulder) and start slowly pour the liquid. Mouth open. The solution should flow into the right nostril and passes through the nasopharynx, pour freely through the open mouth and the left nostril.

NB! Calmly breathe through your mouth. During the procedure, do not chew, do not laugh and do not talk. If the water flowed into the mouth, do not swallow the water, but just a little harder turn your head.

NB! If in the process of nasal lavage solution causes a burning sensation or other unpleasant sensations appear, it means that water has too much salt or you washing nose with too hot or cold water.

4. Repeat the same for the left nostril.

5. After the procedure, remaining in the same position (hands behind back), blow dry the sinuses. Make 20-30 fast and sharp breaths through the nose (Bhastrika pranayama). In this case, turn your head in different positions (down, left, right).

6. Rinse the teapot Petal and cork with warm water and dry with a towel.

7. In the autumn-winter period nasal lavage procedure is not recommended before going out.

8. Nasal lavage is recommended daily.

9. As well as other hygiene products (eg toothbrush), a kettle for nasal lavage should be friend of every family member.
